The purpose of this compilation is to raise awareness to the injustice that the Sioux Tribe in North Dakota is facing. A big oil company, Energy Transfer Partners, is in the process of building a pipeline the will travel 1200 miles and transport half a million barrels of oil per day through the watersheds of the Standing Rock Tribe. If completed, it is only a matter of time before the delicate balance of this area is ruined, subsequently poisoning and killing off this tribe and their future generations.
America is no stranger to the murder and prosecution of Native Americans, and Standing Rock now has two options, they can stay and fight or they can give up their land forever.
Although we cannot physically be present to support the camp, we can make a difference through donations that will go towards whatever they need, from legal fees to food.
100 percent of the proceeds earned from this compilation will go to the camp, so we want to take a moment to thank every single person who has contributed to this effort. We have the ability to make a difference as long as we stand together and continue to fight to end the injustices in this world.
